BATC COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION will provide grants through support of catchment area projects for the development of health communities
MISSION
BATC COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION distributes a portion og casino proceeds to communities, in compliance with the gaming framework agreement and it's core values
BATC Community Development Corporation provides grants, through an application and review process, to non-profit and charitable organizations for the following purposes:
- Economic Development
- Social Development
- Community Infrastructure Development and Maintenance
- Educational Development
- Recreational Facilities Operation and Development
- Senior and Youth Programs
- Cultural Development
- Justice Initiatives
- Health Initiatives
- Other Charitable Purposes
Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis from the following communities:
- First Nations within Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs (BATC): Ahtahkakoop, Moosomin, Mosquito, Red Pheasant, Saulteaux, Sweetgrass, and Stoney Knoll.
- Independent First Nations: Chief Big Bear and Thunderchild
- City of North Battleford
- Town of Battleford
- Communities within a 100 km radius of The Battlefords.
